About the Role
As a Tech Delivery Lead at BluSlash Consulting, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects that require technical proficiency in any two of these: Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, or Full Stack Web Development.
You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to define project requirements, develop detailed project plans, and manage all project phases from initiation to closure. Your role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
You will leverage your expertise in project management and your technical knowledge to drive the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients' business objectives and enhance their overall performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
3-5 years of proven working experience in project management, with a focus on Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, or Full Stack Web Development projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, Full Stack Web Development.
Proficiency in tools and technologies related to your areas of expertise (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, ETL processes, machine learning frameworks, web development frameworks).
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning sessions, set project goals, and define deliverables related to Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, or Full Stack Web Development.
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Co-ordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and all project team members.
Conduct project evaluations and assessments of results.
Oversee the development and implementation of technical solutions within your areas of expertise.
